DE-CIX, the world's leading Internet<\/a> Exchange (IX) operator, which announced the launch of its third North American IX, DE-CIX Chicago, in December 2020, announced that it has installed a switch in 365 Data Centers, a leading provider of network central colocation and other infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) solutions at the company's location at 427 S. LaSalle in Chicago. This is the first DE-CIX deployment with 365 Data Centers and the first IX deployment at their Chicago facility.<\/p>\n

\nGreat enthusiasm<\/h3>\n

\nThe deployment of DE-CIX Chicago in 365 data centers fulfills DE-CIX's mission to enable neutral interconnection capabilities in the third largest city in North America. For the first time, customers in 365 data centers in Chicago will have native access to a neutral multi-service interconnection platform that enables VLAN access for peering and provides global network operators, ISPs, content providers, and other customers with the ability to connect to the Internet, Clouds<\/a> and other networks through a single port. In addition, the transport connectivity available through the interconnected network of data centers from 365 Data Centers enables nearby secondary markets such as Detroit and Indianapolis to access DE-CIX Chicago with low latency, improving connectivity for the entire Midwest region.<\/p>\n
