Bamboo Systems, the arm-only server provider, today announced that it has closed a significant new $7 million round of funding. This new infusion is led by existing investors Seraphim Capital and Opea Holding and backed by the UK's \u00a31.25 billion Future Fund, a government funding package to support startups driving innovation and development through the coronavirus outbreak.<\/p>\n

Arm-based computer platforms have become increasingly important as AWS<\/a> has expanded its Graviton range. Apple<\/a> announced to switch from Intel to Arm for all Macs, and Fugaku, the fastest Supercomputer<\/a> the world, based on Arm. With NVIDIA's recent announcement to acquire the company, the Arm architecture is now poised to disrupt the status quo in computing.<\/p>\n
