Retana est un ancien ing\u00e9nieur de Cisco et maintenant \u00e0 Futurewei en tant que vice-pr\u00e9sident de la strat\u00e9gie dans la division des r\u00e9seaux futurs responsable du concept de \"New IP\", qui doit remplacer la norme Internet actuelle TCP\/IP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cela est d'autant plus surprenant que, parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 la candidature \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence de l'IETF, Huawei tente d'\u00e9tablir une nouvelle architecture Internet \u00e0 l'Union internationale des t\u00e9l\u00e9communications (UIT), ce qui est contraire aux int\u00e9r\u00eats de l'IETF. De plus, Huawei et donc aussi sa filiale Futurewei sont toujours soumises \u00e0 des sanctions impos\u00e9es par le gouvernement am\u00e9ricain. La candidature des deux employ\u00e9s de Futurewei est donc \u00e9galement explosive d'un point de vue politique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New-IP pour rendre l'Internet plus efficace<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Selon M. Huawei, la norme Internet New-IP remplacera l'actuelle H\u00e9bergement web<\/a> a utilis\u00e9 le TCP\/IP. Selon l'entreprise chinoise, ce syst\u00e8me n'est pas assez puissant pour des sc\u00e9narios d'utilisation exigeants. Jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, le concept, qui utilise \u00e9galement le nom de Future Vertical Communications Networks (FCVN), a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 rejet\u00e9 quatre fois par les participants de l'IETF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il semble qu'apr\u00e8s les tentatives infructueuses pour \u00e9tablir la norme Internet, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 chinoise Huawei tente maintenant d'utiliser l'Am\u00e9ricain Barry Leiba \u00e0 ses propres fins. Leiba est un participant de longue date de l'IETF et a publi\u00e9 de nombreuses sp\u00e9cifications RFC dans le domaine du courrier \u00e9lectronique. Il est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un membre influent de l'IETF. On peut toutefois se demander si cela suffit \u00e0 convaincre le comit\u00e9 de nomination des nouveaux plans de propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle de Huawei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D'autres candidats \u00e9galement originaires d'Allemagne<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

En tout cas, selon un certain nombre d'experts, le sc\u00e9nario le plus probable est que le comit\u00e9 de nomination choisira un autre candidat afin d'\u00e9viter l'influence de Huawei et la menace de troubles politiques. Les candidats qui ont pos\u00e9 leur candidature \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence de l'IETF sont Adrian Farrel<\/a> et l'ancien ing\u00e9nieur de Cisco Fred Baker<\/a>. De 1996 \u00e0 2002, M. Baker \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9sident de l'IETF. Ses chances de r\u00e9\u00e9lection devraient \u00eatre bonnes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En outre. Lars Eggert<\/a> de NetApp, R<\/a>Je salue<\/a> d'Akamai et Deborah Brungard<\/a> d'AT&T pour la pr\u00e9sidence.
