Nell'uso quotidiano di un server web alcuni servizi cadono sul server con richieste sempre pi\u00f9 lunghe per elaborare una richiesta e quindi caricare il server.
\nUn esempio tipico \u00e8 l'interfaccia tra il server di posta e lo scanner antivirus: Amavis, che salva temporaneamente le e-mail e le legge nuovamente. Questo naturalmente crea un'elevata richiesta di accesso ai dischi rigidi o alle SSD nei sistemi pi\u00f9 grandi.
\nQui \u00e8 possibile memorizzare queste operazioni di file nella memoria di lavoro per garantire un'elaborazione notevolmente pi\u00f9 veloce.<\/p>\n

Altri esempi sono la directory \/tmp stessa nella cartella php<\/a> file di sessione, o anche file di log.<\/p>\n

Quando si salva nella RAM, c'\u00e8 sempre il rischio di perdita a causa di un difetto del sistema o di un riavvio del server. Pertanto, si dovrebbe sempre e solo salvare solo i non importanti Dati<\/a> memorizzare l\u00ec, o prevedere un backup regolare.<\/p>\n

Un RAMDISK per Amavis pu\u00f2 essere facilmente creato con pochi comandi.<\/p>\n

Per impostare un ramdisk abbiamo bisogno della directory dove Amavis memorizza i file e l'ID utente e del gruppo.<\/p>\n

In \/etc\/fstab entriamo ora nella seguente riga per garantire che il ramdisk venga creato anche dopo un riavvio<\/p>\n

tmpfs \/var\/amavis\/tmpfs tmpfs default,size=256m,mode=750,uid=497,gid=497 0 0<\/p>\n

La dimensione del ramdisk non dovrebbe essere troppo piccola, perch\u00e9 amavis rifiuter\u00e0 le email se il limite viene superato. 256 MB sono sufficienti nella maggior parte dei casi.<\/p>\n
