A Telef\u00f3nica \u00e9 conhecida na Alemanha principalmente como a operadora de rede m\u00f3vel. No entanto, a empresa espanhola de telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es tamb\u00e9m possui cabos submarinos atrav\u00e9s da sua subsidi\u00e1ria Telxius. A Telef\u00f3nica encomendou ao banco de investimentos Greenhill e ao banco comercial franc\u00eas Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale a procura de um comprador para a divis\u00e3o de cabos submarinos. Segundo o jornal espanhol Cinco Dias, o dinheiro ser\u00e1 usado para pagar d\u00edvidas antigas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Telef\u00f3nica utilizou pela primeira vez a sua filial Telxius j\u00e1 em 2017 para aumentar os seus fundos l\u00edquidos. Nessa altura, 40% da empresa foi vendida \u00e0 empresa de investimento americana Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) e dez por cento para Pontegadea. No total, o Loja<\/a> 1,2 bilh\u00f5es para o Grupo Telef\u00f3nica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Os cabos submarinos operados pela Telxius s\u00e3o distribu\u00eddos em todo o mundo. Isto inclui o cabo submarino transatl\u00e2ntico Marea, o Facebook<\/a> e Microsoft<\/a> encomendado em conjunto em 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A Telef\u00f3nica tamb\u00e9m pretende agrupar o seu neg\u00f3cio de comunica\u00e7\u00f5es m\u00f3veis no futuro. Para isso, j\u00e1 foram vendidos 2.350 sites de telefonia m\u00f3vel \u00e0 subsidi\u00e1ria Telxius por 590 milh\u00f5es de euros em 2016. Em junho de 2020, a Telef\u00f3nica Deutschland Holding AG, que, entre outras coisas, \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel pela rede para a nova Pacotes Aldi Talk<\/a> prev\u00ea que mais 10.100 sites de telefonia m\u00f3vel ser\u00e3o transferidos para a Telxius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n De acordo com Cinco D\u00edas<\/a> o neg\u00f3cio inteiro vale 1,5 mil milh\u00f5es de euros. Atualmente, 6.000 localidades j\u00e1 foram transferidas, sendo que o restante dever\u00e1 seguir at\u00e9 agosto de 2021. A anteriormente anunciada convers\u00e3o de toda a Telef\u00f3nica Deutschland (O2) Localiza\u00e7\u00f5es em 4G<\/a> n\u00e3o \u00e9 afetado pela transa\u00e7\u00e3o. At\u00e9 \u00e0 data, a Telxius tem 26.500 localiza\u00e7\u00f5es em seis pa\u00edses e, no final de 2021, a consolida\u00e7\u00e3o ter\u00e1 levado o total para mais de 32.000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Os especialistas financeiros tamb\u00e9m assumem que uma nova tentativa se seguir\u00e1 para trazer a Telxius para o mercado de a\u00e7\u00f5es.
