Registrants of a .sport domain must be recognized athletes, organizers, promoters or supporters of association sports or be among the recognized registrants of the .SPORT Policy Advisory Board (PAB). This includes, for example, athletes and organizers (athletes, clubs, coaches, support staff, events, governing bodies, etc.) who produce, organize, and structure sports content as publicly visible athletes. Also, corporate partners that support the production of sports content by providing resources in exchange for sports-related visibility, including sponsors and media, and validation of the nexus rule is done on a case-by-case basis by the Registry. Registrants are required to state the purpose of the registered domain name. Registration of a .sport domain for the purpose of sale, resale or transfer is not permitted.
