Atos acquires cybersecurity company in Fidem

Atos has signed an agreement to acquire Fidem, a company specializing in Cybersecurity specialized consulting firm based in Canada. This acquisition will strengthen Atos' position as the world's No. 3 provider of cybersecurity services and significantly expand its capabilities in this area in North America by integrating experienced consultants into its teams.

In line with its acquisition strategy, the transaction will allow Atos to expand its customer base and expertise in cybersecurity services in Canada. Founded in 2005, In Fidem is based in Montreal with offices in Quebec City and Ottawa. The company has a strong background in cloud security, digital identity, risk management, security operations, computer investigations (forensic analysis) and the fight against cybercrime. It is a leader in the Canadian market and has a proven track record of successfully meeting the digital security challenges of large public and private organizations. In Fidem, the network of more than 100 highly qualified specialists will join the Atos Cybersecurity team.

The transaction is scheduled to close in the first quarter of 2021.
