HostColor Introduces New Dedicated Servers Based on Scalable Intel Xeon CPUs
HostColor.com (HC) has announced a new line of bare-metal dedicated hosting services based on scalable 3rd generation Intel Xeon processors. The new dedicated servers are available on demand in seven major U.S. metropolitan markets - New York, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles and Seattle.
This new offering would provide HC customers with high performance for their business workloads, such as large databases and databases with a high query load. Intel Xeon Gold and Platinum are available with dedicated servers with one or two CPUs.
The entry-level dedicated hosting services based on Intel Xeon scalable CPU are servers with scalable 2nd generation Intel Xeon Silver 4210 processor, 32 GB RAM (2933 MHz DDR4 ECC), 2 x 480 enterprise SSD and 1 TB enterprise HDD for backups. The server has a / 30 IPv4 subnet (5 usable IPv4 addresses) and a 10 TB data transfer over a 1 Gbit / s Internet connection.

The dedicated server-based Intel Xeon Scalable processors are available in both single and dual CPU configurations. HC's CEO added that "Intel Xeon CPU Scalable based servers are designed for demanding data center workloads, cloud computing and storage are optimized to provide our customers with performance and stability for their mission-critical workloads for public and private enterprises."
Private cloud and public cloud servers
Intel Xeon Gold and Platinum based dedicated servers are also used for the company's cloud infrastructure services. All dedicated servers offered by HC Business Private clouds and public cloud servers are based on Intel CPUs of the latest generation.
In 2020, HC announced a service called Office Cloud. It is a customizable business server that allows organizations to share and collaborate on Office documents, send and receive email, manage their calendar, and video chat in a secure private IT environment. Office Cloud is a form of private cloud infrastructure that is 100% owned and used on a subscription basis. Office Cloud works on both physical (bare-metal) dedicated servers and virtual (cloud) servers.
