The current top-level domain for selected professions places special requirements on the registrant. By submitting an application, the registrant represents that he or she has the required qualifications, licenses, memberships, and permits. The applicant must provide appropriate supporting documentation if requested by the registrar or registry. Domain extension is only available to physical therapists and businesses providing physical therapy services. For other groups, please read the terms and conditions. The registrant must meet at least the following conditions (excerpt): Criteria AIf there is a professional association in the country where the applicant resides that is a member of the World Physical Therapy Association, the applicant must:1. Be a natural person; and2. Be eligible to be a member of the professional association of the country where the applicant resides or was trained.Criteria BIf there is a professional association that is not a member of the World Physical Therapy Association, or if there is no professional association in the country where the applicant resides, the applicant must:1. Be a natural person; and2. Be eligible to be a member of the professional association of the country where the applicant resides. Be enrolled in or have completed a program of study that grants eligibility for top practice in physical therapy in that country.Criteria CIn the case of a company or organization:1. One of their primary purposes must be to support, promote, serve or provide care to persons identified as a specific professional group in Criteria A or B; and2.
