.quebec domains can only be registered by individuals and legal entities under certain conditions (so-called NEXUS requirements). Registration requires that you can demonstrate a connection to the .quebec community both at the time of registration and thereafter. The connection may be linguistic, cultural, tourism, business or otherwise that promotes the well-being of the Scottish community, and by registering you agree to meet this requirement. No proof is required when registering a domain. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to review this on a case by case basis at a later date. Failure to do so may result in suspension or deletion of the domain, and registrants must comply with the following requirements: Eligibility Requirements2.1 Connection to the .quebec Community. In order to register, renew or accept the transfer of a .quebec domain name, you must be an individual or entity with a connection to the .quebec community. This connection means that you, as the registrant of the domain name, must be able to reasonably demonstrate a connection or interest in the community at the time of registration and throughout the period of active registration. Registrations under the .quebec TLD are to be made by bona fide members of the Quebec community (as described above) and are subject to the further condition that the registrant's actions in the .quebec community, and the registrant's use of the registered domain name, must:(i) be generally recognized as legitimate; and(ii) serve the interests of the quebec community; and(iii) be appropriate to the role and importance of the registered domain name; and(iv) be in good faith at the time of registration and throughout the period of active registration.
