Change the iPhone root password step by step
First open the regular Cydia and then enter "Mobile Terminal" in the search bar. Now you should see a button in the upper right corner of the screen that says "Install". Click on this button as well. Now, after you have finished the installation, a black, console-like field should pop up. In this field you have to enter "su", then press the Enter key. You will then be asked for the root password. As mentioned above, this is currently "Alpine" in your case. Passwords are case-sensitive, as is usual with passwords.
To change the password permanently and actively, now enter "passwd" - of course without the quotation marks. Then you have to press Enter again. In this case, the Enter key also functions as the Return key. You are finished changing the password!
Tips for a new password
