DENIC is responsible for the important task of administering Top Level Domains. First and foremost, it is concerned with Top Level Domains registered in Germany. For example, as soon as your provider no longer holds the domain because the term of validity has expired, DENIC will secure the domain for a certain period of time and inform you accordingly. This prevents the domain from being secured by third parties. You then have the option of using the Transit Service Center to decide what is to be done with the domain. You can release it, transfer it to another provider and secure it with DENIC. As a rule, you will have a 30-day grace period and you will be informed by post to the address you have provided.

After a check, you will be shown the IPv4 and IPv6 of the corresponding domain including the subdomains.
