Since 1996 we have been active on the market as a pure web hosting company and are one of the first Internet service providers in Germany and Europe.
Today we are a family-run company that grows by its own efforts and has always been profitable.
In the middle of the 90's we started to offer webhosting rates for German companies. At that time, resellable hosting was only available in the USA.
At that time we started directly with virtual servers on BSD Unix and offered webhosting for companies in Germany at really cheap conditions. At that time, a .de domain still cost several hundred DM per year.
Little by little, opportunities arose to operate their own servers in Germany. We started with a small Telekom dedicated line in our premises in Paderborn, which we then moved to Frankfurt at the end of the 90s. In Frankfurt and Dreieich there was the possibility to place own hardware in server cabinets and to get own IP networks.
At that time we had built our servers ourselves with 19″ cases from China and corresponding brand hardware (mainboard, CPU, RAM, network cards) which were also used in powerful PCs. At that time, the servers for a very well-known TV show were located in the rack row next to us, which was cooled by the data center operator with stationary fans.
Fortunately those times are over. Today we have optimized rack servers from Dell in use that are very easy to maintain during operation and offer ideal conditions for a virtual infrastructure. The performance of 10 servers that were in demand 5 years ago can now handle 1 server and that with less power consumption than an older server.
Our servers are located in secure data centers at various locations in Frankfurt and Offenbach am Main.
